Dr. Hacheadshotkett grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From there, she went to college at Rice University in Houston, Texas where she received a B.A. in Psychology and Religious Studies in 2007. She then pursued a masters degree at San Francisco State University so that she could focus on helping divorcing couples/families. Dr. Hackett graduated in 2009 with an M.A. in Developmental Psychology. She then returned to Oklahoma to pursue her doctorate. She earned an M.Ed. in Community Counseling (2013) and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (2015) from the APA accredited University of Oklahoma. Dr. Hackett completed her predoctoral internship at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Upon graduating, Dr. Hackett moved to Seattle, Washington to begin her career. She received her Psychologist license and began her private practice in 2015. While she maintains her Washington license, she currently lives in Oklahoma with her partner and their kitty, Turbo.
